What a year 2014 was for Daddy Pete’s BBQ! It was our first year with the food truck, and from day one of the BBQ season, we were working non-stop. Thanks to our staff (who was also all family), we pumped out an exhaustive amount of food in a very short span of time during the BBQ season! With our food truck in tow, we travelled all over the Grand Rapids Area and met hundreds of wonderful new friends/customers. Every time we opened our window, the flow of customers would be incredible! There were times we fell short in our attempt to give every customer a top-notch experience, but you understood and stuck with us. Trust us, it is NO easy feat preparing & delivering FRESH, slow-smoked meats in a food truck with hundreds of hungry customers waiting! While we do not do this for the accolades, we were more than excited when we were called by Grand Rapids Magazine and told that they were listing us as Staff Pick for their January edition of “Best of Grand Rapids”! What a humbling moment…but it validates for us that all of the late nights and early mornings were worth it. We are looking forward to what 2015 has in store for us. Thank you ALL for your support and patronage! ..and while you’re out, pick up a copy of Grand Rapids Magazine’s “Best of Grand Rapids” What a great way to start out 2015!
